Yavapai County Health Officials Provide Plague Investigation Update

Yavapai County community health officials announced today that final laboratory testing has returned negative for plague in the suspected case reported on Friday, June 26. There is no active plague risk to the public related to this investigation. Out of an abundance of caution and a commitment to public safety, health officials issued an advisory last week immediately upon receiving a clinical report from the treating medical facility.
