The City of Kingman is reminding residents and businesses to keep cooking grease, oils, and food scraps out of sinks and drains to help prevent sewer backups and damage to the City’s sewer system. Commonly referred to as FOG, fats, oils, and grease from cooking may go down the drain as a liquid, but once it cools, it can harden inside sewer pipes.
