The Prescott High School girls basketball team struggled early in the open state playoffs against Gilbert High School and will now look to the 4A playoffs after falling to the Tigers on the road Tuesday night, 72-49. In the program’s first appearance in the recently-debuted state open playoffs, which features the best teams from across the various conferences, the No. 30 seed Badgers had trouble making shots and limiting turnovers in the first quarter.
