Prescott Airport Receives $3.1 Million Grant

The City of Prescott has taken receipt of grant funds from the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) in the amount of ,100,000, as a partial reimbursement for the purchase of land for protection of the North approach of the crosswind runway, more commonly known as the North Ranch property. The ,100,000.00 represents 90% of the eligible portion of land acquisition, which will be matched by 4,444.00 in City funds. The City is expecting an additional ,000,000 in Congressionally Directed Spending, which was sponsored by and directed from Senator Kelly’s office.
