Prescott National Forest Opens Additional Recreation Sites on May 1, 2024

The Prescott National Forest will open the following developed recreation sites on Wednesday, May 1, 2024. Group Campgrounds - Playground, Upper Wolf Creek, Turney Gulch Day-Use Sites - Spruce Mountain Picnic Area, Mingus Vista Picnic Site, Summit Picnic Site, Mingus Lake Family Campgrounds - Lower Wolf Creek, Potato Patch, Mingus Mountain, Groom Creek Horse Camp, Hazlett Hollow Cabin Rentals – Horsethief Basin Cabin Note: Starting on May 1, 2024, operational hours at day-use sites will be extended reflecting the longer days.
