The Town of Prescott Valley stands to receive .6 million in Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds from the American Rescue Plan Act. Congress passed the Act on March 10, 2021, to alleviate some of the economic problems expected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Town staff presented information regarding the eligible local uses of this money at the August 19, 2021, Council work-study meeting, and on Thursday brought the item back to the Council to discuss potential specific uses of approximately .6 million.
